I don’t claim to know what’s best for the politics of the world, nor do I really have a strong opinion for the rules and regulations of the armed services, however, when it comes to people communicating with people, maybe its best to keep our opinions to ourselves until asked. My father always joked, “hey, why don’t you spare me your priceless advice and cut me a check instead”. Pretty funny actually because its true. It always bums me out that the government gets to choose where our money goes. I’d kinda like a choice there once in a while. I’d probably cut a few gov employees and hook up a few friends that are out of work. Also, we all have an incredible knack for knowing what’s best for everyone but ourselves. Even when our lives are in shambles, we tend to have the “answer” to everyone else’s issues. Being human is a really interesting test. I don’t claim to really be any better or different. Just kind of observing the life around us. Maybe now I’ll be a bit more conscious of the “words of wisdom” I could spare people from when I feel like I actually have my shit together. Truth is I only have a few bases covered. There’s lots for me to get better at. We all have our own learning pace. Probably best to let all of us learn what we’re supposed to when we’re supposed to. It is difficult to see friends or family be sad though. I always want to “save the day”. I should save my own damn day once in a while and shut the heck up. There. Don’t ask! Okay, no sweat. I won’t tell. I’ll just try to love you through it and hope for the best. Probably what my mom would do. Still trying to be more like her.
