So sorry for the delay.
About 5 or 6 weeks ago I was updating Twitter on my Blackberry and everything went black. I tried another phone and finally changed carrier and went back to RIM.
Aaaanyway…here I am and I am so glad to be back unharmed by the technical voodoo that was getting the best of me.
Let me begin by saying thank you for an amazing couple of months. Australia with INXS was so beautiful. We loved the band, the fans, the wineries, the food, the everything. New Zealand was awesome as well. Such a beautiful place. You have to try to go…or you could go to northern California if you can’t get to NZ.
Then we took one day off and decided to go to the Grammy’s. We honestly decided to go at the last minute. We weren’t going to skip because we weren’t into it. It was that we have been full blast for so long we needed a breather. We figured that not going would make us look weak as hell, so we said, “Let’s go congratulate Glee.” Wow, were we blown away when the name they called wasn’t Glee but Train. I can’t express my surprise and excitement. It was outrageous. Obviously, we were very happy we decided to go. AND we had the most amazing night ever. I forgot to thank my wife, along with so many others like our fans. Amber forgave me…so….how about you?
Yesterday was my birthday. I’m in Hawaii for 2 more days with some of my family and I have had an incredible recharge here. Thank you all for the wonderful b-day wishes. You are all so kind. We have another party to jam out to tomorrow then we head to Mardi Gra and then off to South America. Chile is our first stop on the Shakira tour and we are really fired up to get to places unseen by our little -o/o- .
There is so much to say that I am at a loss. I will turn on the heat with the blogging now that I’m back in the cell phone game.
So, thank you all once again for several amazing weeks and 16 beautiful years of being Train. Thank you for the love. Thank you for these gifts and I hope you feel the love we are sending back your way.
